Shawn Black is an award-winning photographer, educator, and President of the Association of International Boudoir Photographers (AIBP). With more than 15 years of experience behind the camera, Shawn has built a career rooted in portrait and boudoir photography, with a focus on lighting, posing, client experience, and creating impactful imagery.

At Couture Black, Shawn, along with his wife and partner, Michelle, works closely with each client to create a highly personalized portrait experience built around who they are and how they want to be seen. Together, they guide clients through every step of the experience, while Shawn brings his expertise in posing, lighting, and creative direction to the session itself. Their approach is about more than creating beautiful images, it’s about creating an experience where clients feel comfortable, confident, and able to see themselves in a way they may not have before.
